The Syrian population was not wont to follow up on the media before the revolution and was only interested in following Drama that contributed in building the Syrian personality that we’re seeing now and which the people are rising up against it, Where the Syrian regime intentionally used to fully control the drama industry. Where you cannot find a private production company in Syria that produce Dramas, and if there is any, they will be controlled by the Syrian intelligence and examples are many.

We were the first production company in Syria who produced and distributed the first independent drama series in Syria.

This is the second season of “Banned in Syria” series that discussing the Syrian crisis from many different aspects (political, military, humanitarian, Refugees across the border, armed rebels, activists and ISIS). Umm Abdo is series of episodes filmed in Aleppo between Nov 2013 and June 2014. The key character is a 13 years old girl who is playing the role of an old mother living in the opposition controlled areas in Aleppo.
