Syrian refugees put their message in the music

Music, chatter and laughter spill out across a nondescript suburb in the bald hills of southern Turkey. MC Gandi, a rapper, takes the microphone to record the vocals for a track about his homeland, Syria.

“We’ve called this one The Arsehole Prince,” he says. “It’s about a guy who was with the regime and then joined Isis.”
